A note from Misha Collins:
On this 20th anniversary of Supernatural, it’s shocking that we’re still even talking about the show. But what’s even more incredible is the positive impact that this fandom continues to have around the world.
Somehow, you all joined together and decided to take the battle for good off the TV screen and into the real world. At a time when so many things seem apocalyptic, when it feels like we are up against impossibly powerful forces of destruction, we’ve fought on!
I just got back from a trip to Africa, visiting two of the projects that this fandom and Random Acts funded with our partners, Legacy of War Foundation and GISH. One is a ballet school in South Africa, where kids who live in mud huts with no running water, no electricity, and no real prospects are thriving in unimaginable ways. Some of these kids have gone on to study at Juilliard in NYC or joined national ballet companies around the world; others have returned to teach at the school, passing their gift on to the next generation. It was wonderful to be there and to celebrate what Random Acts and the SPNFamily helped bring to life. On this same trip, I also visited the farms in Rwanda that we raised the money to acquire years ago. Because of this project and your generosity, resilient women survivors of the Rwandan genocide, who were once on the brink of starvation, have been able to create a new path forward as thriving landowners, entrepreneurs, and pillars of a community they helped build. Seeing these projects firsthand reminded me how impactful our little Supernatural community has been around the world.
Over the years, we have done so much to be proud of. We built a beautiful, 12,000 square foot home for orphaned children in Haiti and have helped keep it running and raising children for 13 years. We’ve supported food banks, urban farms, and community gardens. We built a free high school in Nicaragua where hundreds of students now graduate every year. We supported animal shelters and helped preserve a national park in Nepal to permanently protect the endangered species there.
We helped veterans on the brink of homelessness start over. We brought holiday presents to kids in families who couldn’t do it on their own. We helped refugee families find new homes and brighter futures. We de-mined farmland in Laos and funded a children’s hospital in Afghanistan. We donated critical equipment to Ukrainians with disabilities to help them evacuate. We brought supplies to starving families displaced from Gaza. We started a crisis support hotline and ran environmental clean ups. We supported the elderly, unhoused people, and LGBTQIA+ youth searching for support. We facilitated thousands of acts of kindness, big and small, all around the world. As the SPN cast and crew have been reflecting on the past 20 years, we realize that the list of acts we have undertaken together are far too numerous to list — and that makes us bubble over with pride for what we’ve done together! In a sometimes dark world, you have been a consistent beacon of hope — one random act at a time.
That’s just what the SPNFamily does. Again and again, year after year, we as a community have shown that when we pay attention and raise our voices to support those in need, we can give second chances, we can build hope, and yes — hyperbolic as it may sound — we sometimes even save lives. We could not be more proud to continue to fight alongside you.
The SPN adage has stayed true: We’ve got work to do. So here’s our call to action: Be a part of this family for good and help us commemorate our 20th year! Donate $20 (or more if you can) so that in the face of hate and division, destruction and greed, we can keep fighting as a force for good.

A note from the Random Acts team:
It’s been 20 years since Sam and Dean Winchester set out to save the world. Along the way they discovered their found family. Over the past two decades Supernatural has inspired and built its own found family, one that has proven many times that family don’t end in blood. The kindness that has been shown throughout the years is immeasurable.
In honor of Supernatural’s 20th anniversary we are raising $202,020.20 to do what this fandom does best - spread kindness. Castiel’s "people skills" might be "rusty," but we know yours are not.
Let’s carry on the SPNFamily tradition of kindness! Donate today as we continue our journey on the kindness road ahead.
